Celebrating the music, folklore, and culture of Cuba

Cubacheche events bring to life the many and varied aspects of Cuban and Afro-Cuban music and culture. For Cubans living in the UK they provide a sense of community and a home-from-home, to non-Cubans they offer an authentic taste of the barrios of Havana – and for everyone they splash plentiful ‘ache’ (good destiny) over the UK.

Rumberos de Cuba, cuban folklore, cuban music

Cubacheche and Music Worldwide had the privilege of presenting Rumberos de Cuba in their first visit to the UK.

Haiti Fundraiser The fundraising evening at the Colosseum on Friday 5th February was an outstanding success. The combined efforts of London's Salsa and Afro-Caribbean club and dance community raised a total of £17,247,50 through door fees, raffle ticket sales and donations. A truly fantastic result. This money was donated to the DEC by Dani Hke on 10th February 2010. Well done to all involved. It's heartwarming to know that a combined and united effort can produce such terrific results. And it's satisfying to know that we made a difference, somewhere, somehow and to someone in Haiti!
